Accounting Administrator
William Vaughan Company is helping in the search for a Accounting Administrator for a Manufacturer based in Perrysburg, OH. They are seeking a skilled individual to join their team. As a Accounting Administrator, you will serve in a dynamic and detail-oriented role and will help be the face of our company and manage a variety of essential administrative and accounting tasks.
As the Director of First Impressions, you will be responsible for greeting visitors and managing front office reception duties. You will also execute accounts payable tasks with precision and maintain vendor records. Your positive spirit and “can-do” attitude will be key in providing exceptional service and support.
Role:
Office Administration:
- Greet and direct visitors, maintaining procedures such as visitor logs.
- Answer phones and manage the company mailbox and calendar.
- Order office supplies and maintain operational equipment.
- Prepare outgoing mail and manage packing lists.
- Archive company data and maintain records.
Accounts Payable Administration:
- Maintain vendor records and onboard new vendors.
- Verify and post bills for payment, securing necessary approvals.
- Assist with month-end closing and prepare 1099 tax forms.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High school graduate; accounting education is a plus.
- Minimum two years of experience in office administration and accounts payable.
Skills & Characteristics:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
